WARNING: Installation requires an internet connection

# 1. INSTALLATION
Open the terminal on the installation folder and type:
$ sudo chmod +x install.sh
$ sudo ./install.sh

## 1.1 COPYING CONTENTS
The installation script will copy the contents of R-Peridot to /opt/r-peridot.
If there is a previous installation of R-Peridot, it will be saved as /opt/r-peridot-backup

## 1.2 R-PERIDOT DEPENDENCIES
In this first step, R-Peridot will install all the necessary deb or rpm packages.

## 1.3 DOWNLOADING R-PERIDOT-SCRIPTS
The latest version of R-Peridot-Scripts will be downloaded from the web.

## 1.4 BUILDING R-PORTABLE
R-Peridot works better with it's own version of R, that can be built during the installation.
If you downloaded a version that already comes with a built version of R, this step is to be skipped.
If you don't want to use R-Peridot's R (called R-Portable), you can use the R in your system PATH.

# 2. RUNNING R-PERIDOT 
$ r-peridot-gui

Do not use this installation directory to run R-Peridot, use the directory where it was installed (/opt/r-peridot/) or the system PATH.

# 3. REMOVING R-PERIDOT
$ sudo /opt/r-peridot/uninstall.sh
