# IF USING LINUX/GNU
To grant exec permission to R-Peridot, run the following commands:
$ chmod +x r-peridot-gui
$ chmod +x r-peridot-gui.jar

## Installing dependencies in Linux/GNU
### Ubuntu (apt)
$ chmod +x ubuntuDeps.sh
$ sudo ./ubuntuDeps.sh

### Debian (apt)
$ chmod +x debianDeps.sh
$ sudo ./debianDeps.sh

### CentOS, Fedora or similar (yum)
$ chmod +x centosDeps.sh
$ sudo ./centosDeps.sh

# RUNNING R-PERIDOT
To run R-Peridot, you will need a Java Runtime Environment 8.
"r-peridot-gui.jar" is the graphical interface.

# INSTALLING R PACKAGES
Open R-Peridot and them, in the R Environments Manager interface, choose a R environment. If R-Peridot reports missing packages, use the "Install Packages" button.
If the installation of a package fails, open the desired R executable and install it manually.
